Soft-Ten

Cyclone Soft-Ten is the traditional fencing wire and is the easiest to work with. Soft-Ten wire is also better suited to fire prone areas as the soft wire is less likely to be affected by the intense heat caused by a grass or bush fire – as opposed to a high tensile wire.

The softer wire requires closer post spacing’s, and maintaining tension can be more difficult than some of the higher tensile wire. Therefore it is best suited where ease of use and less strain is required.

Soft-Ten wire is available in standard gal coating, and is manufactured in 3.15mm (750m coil length) and 4.00mm diameters (500m coil length).
