Silos built to keep up with demand
Marketing hassles at harvest time led Roly Dye, “Sunnyside”, Corowa, to put in two 1720-tonne grain silos. Optimum Engineering, in Young NSW, owned by Peter Murphy, is currently building the silos on the property, which measure 14.5m in diameter, 11m in height and have a 30 degree angled roof.
